Fox Promoting 24-Prison Break Crossover Show

Thursday, December 6th, 2007

Jack Bauer is in jail…for 48 seasons, I mean days? Calm down people, there’s no reason to panic. Fox has simply decided to draw more fans to 24 by having Jack Bauer crossover to Prison Break. They tried a Jack Bauer crossover to K-ville but their fan rejected the idea.

It’s like when Steve Erkle visited Full House. Except it’s Jack Bauer visiting The Big House and someone’s going to die.

Fear can hold you prisoner. Jack Bauer can set you free.

Details are still sketchy, but I think Jack makes T-Bag his bitch.

The writers strike and you

Thursday, November 1st, 2007

The writers strike continues to linger over the television world like a wet fart. This is splitting the TV-watching world into three groups: some are wondering how they’ll get their Heroes fix, others are hoping the strike also affects the writers of Monday Night Football so Tony Kornheiser is silenced and you can stop watching MNF with your fingers jammed in your ears, the rest of us just want to know if we’re going to see Jack Bauer crack some skulls. Well here’s your answer:

Fox is in the best position of all broadcast networks in face of a writers strike, it also faces the biggest predicament with the real-time drama “24.”…If a strike starts as soon as next week and lasts several months, there will be no chance to finish the order, meaning that Fox has the option to either start Jack Bauer’s new 24-hour day and cut it off somewhere in the middle or hold the series altogether. Personally, I was amazed that 24 had writers of the show to strike in the first place. I’d been under the impression that someone had setup an Excel macro after Season 4 so a spreadsheet would randomly crank out shitty plot lines as long as some intern kept hitting Alt-T while sitting alone in the dank basement at Fox headquarters. I was obviously wrong.

Jack Bauer – Terminator team up on Monday

Monday, October 22nd, 2007

Jack Bauer and The Terminator will air back-to-back on Monday nights. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will air prior to 24.  Which means you can no longer call Jack Bauer “terminator” anymore as it could confuse people and don’t dare call him “Sarah”!

Fox is revamping its midseason sked, pairing the net’s upcoming “Terminator” TV series with the return of “24″ in January.

The newly retitled “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” will debut Monday, Jan. 14, at 8 p.m., followed by the season-seven bow of “24.” (Source)

Does this do anything for you Wyatt?

Alas, what does this do to K-ville very few people may ask. Who cares?

Writer Strike? No Problemo for 24

Friday, October 12th, 2007

Drink up fellow 24 fans, the looming writers guild strike that will soon end production of such shows as Heroes, CSI: Newark, House, and The Office will have no effect on Season 7 of Fox’s 24!

By New Year’s Day, primetime TV could be dominated by game shows, news magazines, sports and reality – which do not require scripts.

The networks are now scrambling to come up with contingency shows to replace scripted series such as “CSI” and “House” which have only about six weeks worth of new shows completed.

The current contract between the Writers Guild of America and the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers expires on Oct. 31. A strike could occur as soon as the next day. (NY Post)

So, Wyatt….you may need to find a new show to replace the sick fascination you have with the indestructible cheerleader on Heroes. May I suggest the new and improved hotties on 24 like Carly Pope and/or Ever Carradine?

How can I be sure the strike won’t delay Season 7 you ask? I took an exclusive tour of Fox and snapped this photo (below) of the 24 writers still hard at work on the plots, subplots, love triangles, subplots to the plot’s subplots, and Jack Bauer’s manboobs that make 24 so awesome.

24 Kim Bauer Spoiler Alert

Thursday, March 29th, 2007

–EXCLUSIVE–
Those of you who check out Blogs4Bauer on a semi-regular basis know that we’re not a spoiler site in any way whatsoever. We are like the Tuesday morning quarterbacks of 24.

Well that all changes today! One of my friends works with a key sponsor of 24 and Fox. On a recent business trip, she was invited to meet some of the writers of 24 at a party. After a few drinks, her and Manny Coto hit it off pretty well and they exchanged email addresses to keep in touch. As a sponsor, she would like to know ahead of time what is going on with the show.

Well….she sent me this email from Manny talking about a favorite character of ours. Yes, RFTR will be glad to hear that Kim Bauer will soon make her glorious return. Thats right, Kim Bauer is coming back later this season! You heard it here first!

Now we have a couple more shockers that we will be coming down the pipe on future episodes of 24. If you are a fan of the show, make sure you check back tomorrow to find out….oh heck, just check back tomorrow for more insider information.
