I am about to upgrade Blogs.4Bauer to the latest edition of WordPress. It’s a long overdue upgrade. I’ll probably break something in the process. Lets hope this goes quickly and easily.

Two new cast members have been confirmed for Season 7.
Jeffrey Nordling, who co-starred on “Dirt” this year, has joined the cast of Fox’s “24″ as an FBI agent.
Also joining the real-time thriller is John Billingsley (ABC’s “The Nine”), whose character details are being kept under wraps.
It is good to see that progress is being made. It is also good to get up early on a Friday morning and beat AmyV to the punch. ;-D
52% of those voting in the most recent poll have asked for a Chloe based theme.
Blogs.4Bauer, as always, comes through. Not with a Chloe theme, but with two!
One note on the “Hot Dark Chloe” theme. I still have to do some tweaking to the css code to get the colors just right, but it should be viewable. Being color blind can be a pain sometimes.

UPDATE: I think the show went great (aside from the host trying to stifle the effects of a nasty sinus thing). We had (according to BlogTalkRadio’s stats) twice as many live listeners as we did for the first show. Ok, so it’s only 4, but double is double. The new archived podcast should be showing up at the top of the site very shortly.
The great thing was having two great guests to talk with. Scully called in and we talked about the delays that season 7 is facing. She also was our first contestant and first winner in the “Are You Smarter Than Kim Bauer” portion of the show! (More on that later).
Frank (Political Vindication) called in and we had a great conversation about where we’ve been and where we’re heading on 24.

The second edition of Radio4Bauer will be on the air Saturday August 18th at 6:30pm Eastern. Not only will be engaging in our favorite past-time (well, our other favorite past-time) — mindless speculation and ruthless review, but we’re kicking around some other ideas that we hope will encourage you to listen and call in.

Some of the most noticeable green changes in season 7 of 24 will be seen at CTU. Those changes start with the new CTC logo pictured here. You can also expect Jack to channel Jeff Goldblum’s character from ID4, but in a much more menacing whisper. Perhaps something like this:
Do you have any idea how long those take to decompose.
And speaking of decomposition, the crack security staff at CTU (aka, red shirts) will be getting new uniforms. Now, the shelf life of the average red shirt is rather short, so the new uniforms will carry the reminder that even red shirts can be “Green“.

While we are all in the long wait for the start of Season 7, and while I wait for someone to suggest a time for the first Radio4Bauer program, let’s have some more fun with 24 in Springfield.
Bill is looking for Jack (who has gone rogue again), The melted corpses of Itchy and Scratchy, his dignity after being fired by his wife last season, and the hot VP adviser (since Karen hasn’t given it up since the first Bush administration), not necessarily in that order.
This isn’t a job he can do alone. Enlist the help of his predecessor? Nope, piloted a nuke into the desert. Hmmm, how about Curtis? Whoops, Jack shot him. Tony? He was always reliable. Well, at least when he was really alive. What’s the unemployed Director of CTU to do?
